Care for the details.
General planning guidance for furniture materials. Always follow the actual manufacturer’s care label; catalog descriptions are not care certifications.
Wood and finished surfaces.
Start with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid standing water, abrasive cleaners and direct contact with hot objects. A product described as wood, veneer or lacquer may need different treatment; check its specific finish before using a cleaner or polish.
Upholstery.
Check the fabric’s care label before cleaning. Remove loose dust gently where the label permits, and test any approved cleaning method in an inconspicuous area. A color or material description alone does not establish stain resistance or washability.
Metal, glass and lighting.
Use a soft cloth and the manufacturer’s instructions for the actual surface. Avoid abrasive pads. Switch off and unplug lighting, and let it cool before cleaning. Electrical installation and replacement parts need the product’s own instructions.
Compare the material first.
Product details list the selected finish, stated material, dimensions and delivery notes. Use those details to compare options; FORMA does not promise tested durability or verified suitability for a particular room.
